I started cutting with my clippers. that is a harder job than you would think. I also advise that you wear gloves as pine cones are rough on your hand.
I gathered pine cones that were on the ground under the pine tree in my yard. There was not enough for my project so I got the 22 and shot some more off the tree!
Cut, painted, glued and wired to picks and made flowers. A basket full!
It amazes me as to how easy this blog was to make. The pictures uploaded so fast. I am reminded of the time it took for this same process to happen on dial-up.
I may make more blogs!!
